I was born in 1949 Madalena-Pico-Azores. I immigrated into Canada
in 1964, coming to Oliver, British Columbia.
My passion for music probably started when I went back to visit Pico
island in 1970. Some friends from Madalena and I went to a dance party at Lages
do Pico where I got to sing for the first time on stage: it was a memorable
experience. After returning to Canada,
I played and sang on weekends with different bands. In 1994 I started hosting full time karaoke
shows and D.J. all over the province playing Rock, Country, and Portuguese
music. I am passionate about music and having fun is one of my priories in
life.
